Fall is here, bringing the promise of holidays and cooler weather. But before we rush into the holiday season and start playing our favorite Christmas tunes, let’s pause to celebrate.
This September, God has been working in amazing ways through His church, both in our community and on campus.
One special way we celebrated God’s work in the next generation—and in every generation—at Mosaic Church was through our NXTGEN Sunday.
Through the power of community, what might God want to accomplish through you to impact all generations?
Our Every Nation Campus Missionary, Bria Lacour, invited us to consider this by looking at the early church in Ephesus.
She showed how God’s wisdom shines when diverse generations maintain unity in community. She reminded us that no matter our age, we all crave belonging and that God calls us to connect with Him and His people daily in the places where we live, work, and play.
Practically living out this message took a fun turn with our Ice Cream Social at Micholandia.
There’s something special about coming together over a scoop or two or three of ice cream—especially when it brings together such a diverse crowd!
These gatherings have become one of many ways to reach new friends and neighbors, many of whom long for Christian community. It’s been incredible to watch God move in hearts, opening doors for connection that may not have happened otherwise.
Even though ice cream and cooler fall weather aren’t the usual pair, we can’t wait to return to the ice cream socials next spring and summer!
With summer socials winding down, a few of our women traveled to Giddings, Texas, for Mosaic’s Annual Women’s Retreat.
The theme for this year, “Hallowed Be Thy Name,” invited women of all ages and life stages to dive deeply into The Lord’s Prayer, found in Matthew 6:9-13, and to rediscover the majesty and holiness that belong to God alone.
Before one of the main sessions, Mallary Brown led women in praying the Lord’s Prayer, embracing the powerful truth of Jesus’ kingdom, power, and glory.
Lives were profoundly touched and transformed—healings, deliverance, salvation, baptisms, and more—as each woman encountered the presence of our Father.
Back in Fort Worth, we continued to witness lives being transformed into ones that surrendered to Jesus as Savior and Lord.
One highlight was Maggie Alexander’s water baptism, a beautiful public declaration of her faith in Jesus. Witnessing Mallary baptize Maggie as her sister in Christ reminded all believers of the personal and powerful stories God writes through our lives when we surrender to Him.
It’s stories like Maggie’s and countless others we’re encountering in the community and on campus that shape us as God’s timeless multiethnic, multigenerational church, called to impact every generation for His glory and fulfill His vision from the beginning—to spread His love and truth to the ends of the earth.
Last but certainly not least, September also marked a significant milestone: Mosaic Church Fort Worth’s one-year anniversary!
With hearts full of gratitude, we celebrated a year of making disciples of Jesus through the core values of worship, community and mission in a multiethnic, multigenerational context.
We are deeply thankful for God’s faithfulness in sending us and calling us to be His hands and feet right here in Fort Worth. Moment by moment, one life at a time, we press on until He returns.
Thank you for walking this journey with us—your prayers, generosity, and support make this mission possible. Saying “thank you” feels small compared to all the ways God moves among us, but please know we are so grateful for each of you.
Looking ahead, we’re excited about what God has in store. Let’s GO, continuing to press on in faith by grace, with endless gratitude, as we make disciples of all generations—believing the best is yet to come!
