Just as we settled into the rhythms of summer, a new school year has arrived here in our beloved Fort Worth! It’s a fresh season, and we’re excited about all God has in store.
As we pray for our city—individually and during our weekly Wednesday noon prayer call—another powerful way we intercede as a church is by living out the gospel through acts of service and intentional prayer, both in our community and on campus.
To kick off the new school year, we had the joy of serving breakfast to the staff at O.D. Wyatt High School and Rolling Hills Elementary.
Both campuses warmly welcomed their new and returning team members with a festive celebration, followed by interactive training sessions designed to foster a culture of excellence as they eagerly prepare for the arrival of students and parents.
Additionally, Pastor Alvin and Campus Missionary Bria Lacour gathered with the faculty and staff of O.D. Wyatt High School to pray, asking God to make the school a hub of positive change that spreads throughout the community and into the city.
We joined many families from the Ventana neighborhood for a heartfelt prayer walk at Rolling Hills Elementary.
It was a beautiful moment when heaven touched the earth, as adults and children took turns giving thanks, offering praise, and praying for God’s transformative presence not only at Rolling Hills Elementary but across all campuses in our city.
The excitement didn’t stop there! Over at TCU, the campus has been bustling with activity as students return for their next chapter. 🐸📚
U-Hauls, tours, and welcome events have been in full swing as we prepared to host our first Campus Sunday.
Students and families came together as Bria and Joya shared powerful testimonies of how God uses everyday people to transform lives on and off campus.
We also celebrated some big news! After many prayers, Bria Lacour is now officially recognized as a campus minister at TCU through Every Nation Campus Ministries. 🎉
This is a major breakthrough, and we’re rejoicing that Bria will now work directly with TCU’s Religious and Spiritual Life (RSL) team, serving students, faculty, and staff. She’s already hit the ground running, participating in RSL’s retreat and welcoming new students through Frogs First.
We’re praying and believing that God will open even more doors at TCU, and we invite you to join us in this prayer!
Most importantly, we ask hearts to be open to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord this semester and in the coming seasons.
Please keep ENC’s weekly campus outreach, FrogsFriday.com, in your prayers as TCU students participate in meaningful spiritual conversations, enjoy games, and, of course, savor the ever-essential FREE PIZZA at our meetups!
We’re so grateful for Bria, our student leaders, and God’s faithfulness in establishing our Every Nation Campus chapter at TCU.
But God wasn’t just moving on the campus—He was also at work in the community and in the hearts of our men. Our Annual Men’s Retreat in Giddings, Texas, was a time of deep connection with God and each other.
Pastor Alvin kicked off the first night of the retreat, reminding our men that while knowing Jesus as Savior is vital, truly following Him means surrendering to Him as Lord. The weekend was filled with powerful moments as we explored the truth that the kingdom, power, and glory belong to Jesus.
As we look ahead, we’re eagerly awaiting our Annual Women’s Retreat, believing it will be an equally transformative experience for the ladies as they gather at Camp Tejas. We know God has incredible things in store!
One of the most beautiful moments in August was witnessing Cisco Casaus publicly declare his faith through baptism. 💦
Having walked with us for much of this year, Cisco made the powerful decision to surrender to Jesus as both Savior and Lord, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate this milestone with him.
This is what it’s all about, whether on the campus or in the community—making disciples and watching God’s faithfulness unfold in ways that will echo through generations.
Friends, we couldn’t do this without you. Your prayers, support, and generosity are vital to this mission.
As we continue to witness God drawing hearts from every nation and generation to Himself, let this encourage us to keep our eyes and hearts fixed on Jesus, glorifying His name in all we do—where we live, work, and play.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates on our NxtGen Sunday celebration, our One-Year Anniversary, and other incredible milestones!
Until then, let’s keep praying and believing for lives to be changed and hearts to turn back to Our Father, for His kingdom to come and His will to be done here on earth as it is in heaven.
