As the old saying goes, “April showers bring May flowers!”
And indeed, we’ve been blessed with much-needed rain, followed by a stunning display of sunflowers basking in the intensifying summer sun near the school we gather at weekly.
Just as we see these sunflowers reach for the sky, we’re witnessing God’s faithful hand in growing this church weekly to do the same in the community and on campus.
Seeing how God moves hearts in our community is inspiring, prompting us to invite others to experience the Gospel’s transformative power. Indeed, the good news is for everyone!
So, we kicked off a new series, The Gospel Is For Everyone, that explores the book of Romans, written by the Apostle Paul.
Each week until the end of summer, we’re uncovering the core doctrines of Christian faith and belief, much like the multiethnic church in Rome did.
In today’s broken and sinful world, we’re becoming a light, encouraging and challenging one another to boldly embody the Gospel of Jesus daily—experiencing its transformative power now and in the life to come, not just as a historical fact.
One beautiful and practical way we’ve collectively embodied the Gospel is by serving the Rolling Hills Elementary staff.
We hosted an end-of-year breakfast to show our gratitude for their dedication to educating and empowering the leaders of tomorrow.
We’re incredibly thankful for every person at Rolling Hills and look forward to another fruitful year of partnering with the Bobcats.
That’s the Bobcats. Now, let’s discuss the Horned Frogs and our impact on campus.
In case you missed it, we wrapped up the year at Texas Christian University with a major, divine milestone: Every Nation Campus (ENC) is now an officially recognized student-led organization! TO GOD BE THE GLORY! 🎉
This is a huge achievement, especially at a private university like TCU. Even though most students head home for the summer, ENC can now officially disciple and reach students in partnership with TCU’s Office of Religious and Spiritual Life.
We celebrated this incredible news with a group of TCU student leaders before they embarked on their summer adventures, some even backpacking across the globe.
Please pray for our campus missionary, Bria Lacour, as she works with our TCU student leaders to plan activities for the summer and fall.
We’re committed to engaging students with the Gospel, establishing a strong biblical foundation, and empowering them to lead others to Christ.
Last but certainly not least, we also enjoyed celebrating our first baby dedication on Mother’s Day—what a sweet blessing!
We deeply thank the Rodriguez family for their faithfulness to God and the local church. It is a humble honor to partner with parents like them as we commit together before the Lord and our church community to dedicate their baby boy to God’s will and raise him according to His Word.
This is just the start of many more families, babies, and children who will be dedicated to fearing and honoring God.
It truly takes a village to raise a child, and we are so grateful to call this local church body our Gospel-centered community, where we love Jesus, one another, our city, and beyond.
We are immensely grateful to God for your continued prayers, giving, and support from near and far.
Your partnership helps us invite everyone to experience the Gospel as we are daily transformed into disciples of Jesus who make disciples in our community and on campus.
Until our next update, may the Lord bless you and keep you (safe and cool!)…
