As we dive into September, the energy of Friday night high school football, the excitement of college football Saturdays, and the anticipation of NFL and NBA seasons kicking off are all around us.
Oh yeah, and let’s not forget the grand finale of MLB with the World Series—sports enthusiasts, rejoice!
Amid all these happenings, God is moving, and we have stories to rejoice about being the church and the witnesses of Jesus.
Are you ready? Well, ready or not, let’s start with the first update: Launch Sunday.
Just a short while ago, Launch Sunday felt like a distant dream back in 2022. The thought of September 2023 seemed almost otherworldly.
And then, in the blink of an eye, we are witnessing the incredible reality of Jesus’s Church taking root in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas. Miraculous? Absolutely!
September 10, 2023, marked a pivotal moment—God’s birthing and planting of Mosaic Church Fort Worth at Westpark Elementary School.
Like a scene from the Book of Acts, family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors gathered to witness God’s presence, establishing us as a local expression of His Kingdom.

And with unwavering faith, we’re stepping into the community and onto college campuses in Fort Worth to make disciples of Jesus through the core values of worship, community and mission in a multiethnic, multigenerational context.
We dared to believe for a miracle, and through persistent prayers, God did more than we could fathom. Miracles, signs, and wonders unfolded, and with the Lord’s grace, there’s more to come. This is just the beginning!
From our weekly gatherings to daily living, we devote ourselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer—echoing the early believers.
Talking about devoting our lives to prayer, we took a unique step onto the campus of our weekly gathering venue—West Park Elementary School—for this year’s global day of student prayer, See You at the Pole™.
“Wholehearted” was the theme, centering around Jeremiah 29:13. Together, students, parents, teachers, and staff united in prayer, seeking God with all our hearts.

The lives, faces, and voices of Benbrook’s diverse community resonated into the heavens, offering praise and thanksgiving. In addition, each child, in their innocent faith, shared a short sentence prayer and scripture, creating a powerful moment!
It’s been an incredible experience to join hands in prayer with fellow believers and Jesus followers in our community, nurturing the aspirations of tomorrow’s leaders. Together, we’re striving to make a meaningful difference today and for the generations ahead.
Moreover, God’s winds of change aren’t confined to grade schools. His presence and Spirit is alive, well, and moving across the campuses of Texas Christian University (TCU) and Dallas Baptist University (DBU).
We recently gathered with students from both campuses for brunch, games, and prayer. Our heartfelt prayers were for these young individuals to become image bearers of God, praying over each one for them to impact fellow college students living and preaching the Gospel of Jesus.

And by God’s grace and our faithful engagement, both TCU and DBU are on the path to becoming recognized Every Nation Campus chapters this school year, Lord willing.
As we look towards the end of the year, we seek your prayers and support for our faith goal:
Send 20 high school seniors and college-aged students from Fort Worth to the 2024 ENC Conference in Orlando, Florida, from Jan 2nd-4th.
Last year’s attendees from TCU had a life-transforming experience, encountering God and growing in their faith. So, if you know high school seniors or college-aged students, share this opportunity, fund a student’s (or more) trip with a one-time $500 gift, and be part of changing lives through the Gospel of Jesus.
These are just a few stories and highlights of our journey in planting one foot in the community and the other on campus, serving as the hands and feet of Jesus.
Simply saying ‘thank you’ can’t express how truly grateful we are. Our daily stories, ignited by the Holy Spirit, thrive because of your obedience, generosity, and prayers to partner in God’s mission through the church.
Let’s keep being Jesus’ witnesses as we live in ways to reach the community and campuses in Fort Worth and beyond with the Gospel—one day, one life at a time—for generations to come.
With heartfelt thanks and anticipation for what lies ahead… truly, the best is yet to come!
God bless,
