Praying for His Grace in Vulnerable Life Moments.

As the holiday season fast approaches, many of us find ourselves amid various emotional struggles, and it’s essential to recognize that you’re not alone in facing these challenges.

Nearly 1 in 5 adults experience various mental and emotional hurdles during this time. From grief to loneliness, anxiety, and everything in between, the seasons can impact us all—but often in entirely different ways.

But here’s the good news—you’re not alone in this journey. In fact, quite the opposite, and here’s the reason why.

I’m sure you’ve heard of 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, where it says:

"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

In these verses, the Apostle Paul reminds us that Christ Jesus’ grace is more than enough to carry us through our struggles, even in our most vulnerable moments.

And in a world that often feels complex, tiresome, and full of challenges at every twist and turn of any given day, God doesn’t just stand by. He walks right alongside us.

Even when we traverse what may seem like desolate, arid days, He is there to lead us, supply our needs, bring healing, and uphold us. God is our salvation and the wellspring of joy and encouragement, even in the face of challenging times marked by weakness, insults, hardship, persecution, and difficulty.

So let’s prayerfully journey together tonight, finding comfort and strength, as we (and others too!) discover a beautiful truth:

Through our faith in Jesus, He can bring comfort and assistance to others in and through our everyday lives, showing that His grace is more than enough, even in our vulnerability.

Join us tonight at 8 p.m. via Zoom as we navigate the holidays and every day with life-giving hope and the assurance that His grace is more than sufficient.

God bless,

Additionally, we will make space to pray for God to extend His reach beyond the limits of our city and into the world, seeking His wisdom, unity, safety, and provision for the following people and initiatives:

As we pray, let’s lift up Cross-Cultural Missionary Joms Dalusong, who serves the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.  His heart burns for the next generation, recognizing them as the future leaders of Canada and the world, to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

Let’s pray for Pastor Travis and Brittany Hamzik, who are committed to establishing an Every Nation church in DeLand, Florida. Having been active members of Lake Mary Church in Florida, their vision and passion are to be one church with multiple locations, spreading the message of the Gospel well beyond their local community.
