Hi everyone!
What a pleasure and blessing it was to meet and break bread together in person last month.
And a big thank you to Pastor Daniel Hernandez and the team for the invite and for working all the logistics for us to meet in person.
As for our next steps, here are a few things to keep on your radar in the coming weeks in regard to Fort Worth Church Plant news:
Next stop: Fort Worth — Mallary (Mal) and I have started the home buy/sell process with a local DFW real estate agent, aiming to call the Fort Worth area home by July 1st (at the latest) — not clear on the exact location (stay tuned). Keep us in your prayers. However, should anyone be available to meet for lunch or dinner, we’ll be in Fort Worth Friday, March 11th, and Saturday, March 12th.
Vision Cast Sunday — Mark those calendars and plan to join us for in-person services on March 27th at 11 am followed by lunch onsite at Mosaic’s Austin Campus. This will be a great moment and opportunity to meet Mosaic Leadership, Staff, and the Austin campus, and hear more about the vision and next steps for Mosaic Fort Worth.
Send-Off Sunday — Mark those calendars one more time for the send-off to Fort Worth Sunday tentatively scheduled for May 15th at 11 am in-person services. Join us as we worship together in song, scripture, prayer, and a send-off party for our launch team (that’s you too!) While we would love to have everyone attend each date, we completely understand that it may not be feasible or practical — previous commitments, work schedule, kids extracurricular activities, etc. But if at all possible, we would love to have everyone gather with us for send-off Sunday.
Prayer Requests & Updates
For evangelism to flourish so communities and campuses in the greater Fort Worth area will be reached, and the lost will see and experience the love of Christ and be drawn to his kingdom.
For signs and wonders to follow the preaching of his word.
For team unity and laborers to help carry the load. For finances and provision.
For fully funded campus missionaries (2 per campus) to help reach the next generation — University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), Texas Christian University (TCU), Tarrant County College (TCC).
One final thing! We desire to establish a monthly prayer call via Zoom, specifically praying for the greater Fort Worth area and how God will use each of our lives to reach the lost.
