This past weekend was a great reminder of all we’ve witnessed and continue witnessing in God’s hand at work, not just in the next generation but across all generations of our Mosaic Church family.
Reflecting on Bria Lacour’s timely NXTGEN Sunday sermon, “Three Places to Impact All Generations,” let’s join our hearts in prayer, asking God for the spiritual strength to reveal the mystery of the Gospel in every aspect of our lives—where we live, work, and play.
Guided by Ephesians 3:8-10, we’re reminded by the Apostle Paul of a profound truth:
through the Church, God’s manifold wisdom is made known to the world.
Paul’s words to the Ephesians are just as relevant to us today. He bridges the gap between our spiritual beliefs and everyday actions. He challenges us to consider how our faith should shape our daily lives, particularly in love, unity, and the precious gift of salvation through Christ.
Paul speaks of a divine mystery—God’s wisdom—now revealed through the Church. As we come together in prayer, let’s reflect on these questions:
- What is this wisdom from God, and why is it essential that it be revealed, as opposed to the wisdom of the world?
- How do we, as both a local and global church, serve as the vessel for this wisdom in today’s world?
- In what ways are we, as a multiethnic, multigenerational community, called to live out this wisdom in our daily lives?
As we meditate on these questions, let’s focus our prayers on how we can be this community of believers in three key areas that impact all generations according to God’s eternal purpose in Christ Jesus:
🙏 On the Campus: Praying for a spiritual awakening at our schools and universities, that they may become fertile ground for God’s wisdom to take root and grow.
🙏 In the Community: Asking God to use us to maintain His heart for unity and love in our neighborhoods, workplaces, and cities, so His wisdom shines through all we do.
🙏 With Our Lives: Seeking God’s strength through the work of the cross to live our faith boldly and authentically, allowing His wisdom to be revealed through our everyday actions.
Just as Paul prayed that the mystery of the Gospel would be revealed through the community of believers, we too pray that our church may be “filled with all the fullness of God,”(Ephesians 3:19) so that His glory is evident in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:21)
Our prayers have the power to invite God’s kingdom to earth that impacts all generations for His glory.
So, in the wisely written words of the Psalmist in Psalm 71:18, may it the be heart of all generations to proclaim:
“So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.”
We look forward to joining you in prayer and witnessing how God will move among us to impact all generations—on the campus, in the community, and through our lives in Fort Worth and beyond.
If you have any specific prayer requests, please don’t hesitate to share them during the call. We would be honored to pray for God’s will in your life, too.
See you on Zoom at noon!
God bless,
Pastor Alvin & Mallary Brown
