The Power of Gospel-centered Community.

May flew by in a whirlwind of activity, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all the incredible moments we shared.

Let’s take a moment to reflect on the highlights and celebrate the goodness of God in our community.

One of many highlights during May was successfully concluding our 12-week Bible study, “Come and See: Exploring the Gospel of John”.

Weekly Discussion Guides - Bible Study - Come and See: Exploring the Gospel of John.

We immersed ourselves in Scripture weekly through prayer, study, and discussion. It transformed us, fueling our passion for sharing the Gospel and positively impacting our city where we work, live, and play. Starting with 6, God grew our gathering to 11, a testament to His faithfulness and the power of community.

And guess what? As one Bible study wraps up, another one is about to begin! I’m thrilled to announce that starting July 10th, we’ll launch a Summer Women’s Bible Study.

Mosaic Fort Worth :: Summer Women's Bible Study :: Jude — Contending for the Faith in Today's Culture.

This 7-week, in-person study will explore the rich insights of the book of Jude and delve into the transformative masterpiece by Jackie Hill Perry“Jude: Contending for the Faith in Today’s Culture.”

If you know any women in the Fort Worth area, especially in Benbrook, make sure to share this exciting news with them and personally invite them to registerWe can’t wait to gather together every Monday night starting July 10th.

But our ministry extends beyond Bible studies. Our community dinners in both Northwest and Southwest Fort Worth continue to be fertile ground for building relationships and fostering connections.

The Brown's Community Dinner :: June 2023

As summer unfolds and recreational activities take center stage, let’s keep our community dinners in our prayers. May God’s grace and favor continue to open hearts, leading more people to attend and connect.

As we bid farewell to May, we also concluded our time in the Church Plant Residency program with Plant Fort Worthchurches multiplying churches and saturating our city with the Gospel of Jesus.

Plant Fort Worth

This residency has been an absolute blessing, connecting us with other churches in the greater Fort Worth metro area that share the vision of making disciples of Jesus through church planting.

Our experience during this residency has been life-giving and transformative, impacting not only our marriage and us as individuals but also our family and Mosaic Church Fort Worth. We are forever grateful for this incredible opportunity.

During our final days in the residency, Pastor Zack Eskwine imparted valuable wisdom, particularly in self-care and sustainability.

He reminded us to prioritize our devotion to God, nurturing our marriages, cherishing our families, and serving the church.

It was a powerful reminder that ministry is a marathon, not a sprint, and we must establish healthy spiritual disciplines and rhythms in Jesus to sustain ourselves and finish well in the eyes of the One who matters most—God.

And speaking of finishing well, we have a special treat for you that concludes this update.

To truly grasp the impact of God’s work in our community and on the campuses in Fort Worth, I invite you to watch our most recent recap video. It’s a celebration of all the wonderful things happening around us, and it will fill your heart with gratitude and joy.

Finally, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you.

Your prayers and sacrificial giving allow us to be the church, spread the Gospel, and share the love of Jesus with more people. You are an essential part of our Mosaic Church Fort Worth family.

Together, empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are and will continue by God’s grace to make a lasting impact in the lives of those around us, extending the reach of the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Thank you for journeying with us on this mission. We are excited about the future and all God has in store for us!

God bless,
Pastor Alvin & Mallary Brown
