As we’re off to a racing 2024, allow me the opportunity to wrap up the spectacular ride of 2023 that was “December to Remember”, all tied up with a big, shiny red bow. 🎁
Our December journey began at Mosaic Church Austin for Mosaic KIDCON—a thrilling three-day adventure for elementary-aged kids.
The theme, “Power-Up: A Call to Courage,” highlighted Old Testament stories of bravery, empowering the youth to understand that God continues to write courageous stories in the lives of His people.
Yours truly opened Friday night by sharing Gideon’s story, emphasizing that when we have the courage to take the next step, God provides—against all odds.

Back in Fort Worth, we focused on Mosaic’s third value of Mission. Our mission in December explored how God’s broader mission through the church aligns with our daily mission to live for Him, using Acts 17:16-34 as our guide.
Following the Apostle Paul’s example, we learned to contextualize the Gospel in all aspects of life, adapting the delivery without compromising its truth.
One of the ways God led us to live in and on a mission as a local church that is making a positive difference in the community is through something we like to call Project Christmas—extending generosity to bring joy to neighbors near and far as we share the love of our God.

In our inaugural year, God moved the hearts of our local church to raise and gift $1,000 in assorted gift cards to show appreciation to Fort Worth teachers and FWISD’s Parent Partnerships department.
While it was good to generously live as the early Church of Acts did to bless their community, our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service was one of the most memorable gifts to remember this December.

We celebrate Jesus with amazing songs, a message from Luke 2 about how the unexpected interruption and invitation of the arrival forever impact our world, and, of course, the timeless tradition of singing Silent Night by candlelight.
And speaking of impact, what an impactful 2023 it’s been for our local church making a lasting difference—placing one foot in the community and one foot on the campus in Fort Worth, continuing God’s mission as the church.
Tune in for the 2023 finale, celebrating God’s work and preparing for what He has in store in 2024.
As we’re one month into the new year, we express our deepest gratitude for your prayers, contributions, and unwavering support to make disciples of Jesus.
THANK YOU so much for laboring alongside us, carrying the good news of Jesus to Fort Worth and beyond, and making a lasting impact on the kingdom of God.
May your 2023 have ended well, and may 2024 be a fantastic start!
Cheers, and all the more blessings to what’s ahead!
God bless,
