November has arrived, and as the crisp autumn breeze sets in, we’re all gearing up for the festive season ahead—Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
But before we go all into the holiday season with decor and songs in tow, let’s recap this remarkable November at Mosaic Church Fort Worth and all the ways God remains faithful in allowing us to continue sharing the Gospel with our community and campuses.
Our November journey began in Midland, Texas, where we joined the Every Nation Fall Southwest Cluster—a two-day gathering of 13-15 Every Nation churches from the Southwest region.
It was an incredible time connecting with pastors, leaders, and staff from different churches.

Pastor Matt McDonald led us through a thought-provoking session on “Faith for New Beginnings” based on Joshua 1:1-10. His words encouraged us to face challenges boldly, accept the need to fight for our calling, step up to answer God’s call and do God’s work faithfully and courageously.
What powerful takeaways personally and collectively as we re-enter our given context of life and ministry as one year ends and another begins.
We must GO believing that God has prepared the people we’ll reach and connect with the good news of Jesus.
I can’t wait for the next Southwest region cluster to have a few Fort Worth leaders in attendance.
Meanwhile, back in Fort Worth, we were honored to participate in the Tour for the Superintendent’s PTA Council hosted by Fort Worth ISD.

Marta Plata, the Executive Director of Student and Family Experience, and her team showcased to civic and business leaders how their department actively engages and empowers students and families, transforming them from mere survival to holistic thriving.
The tour was a moving and insightful experience for numerous leaders, and a few parents present, revealing the dedication of this team of unsung heroes in empowering families to overcome generational challenges—illiteracy, poverty, and hardship, and fostering positive change across the district, city, and beyond.
It’s been a joy to partner with Marta and the team as we join forces to ensure equitable peace and prosperity for all, especially the least among us.
In addition to partnering to make a difference in Fort Worth ISD, we embodied the spirit of goodwill towards a local non-profit organization, aligning with Mosaic’s core value of Community during November.
Studying the book of Acts since Launch Sunday, we challenged ourselves to live generously as the early church in Acts did for one another, uniting and allowing our communal love to overflow into a Fort Worth-based non-profit organization.
So, what did we do? We invited everyone to give $99.95 each (or what they could) to see how much we could raise in one day to give away!
And by God’s grace and the generous hearts of everyone present, we rallied together to support LoveActs.org, turning a dream into a reality, raising $1,945.47 to aid their endeavors in addressing homelessness and substance abuse through Christian discipleship.

It’s incredible how our unity and generosity are making a tangible impact on lives in our backyard. And though we can’t do everything we want for organizations like this, we can give them a day they won’t forget, making a permanent difference in the lives of those in crisis.
We can do for all what we wish we could do for all as a way to live out Jesus being the one who did for all to be saved and redeemed of sin. Together, we gave to collectively impact a part of our city that is underfunded and often underserved.
And guess what? I can’t wait to do it again for another Fort Worth-based organization next year and in future years.
Speaking of the future, here are a few important reminders as we conclude our November updates:
🚨 Please note we are NOT GATHERING IN PERSON this Sunday. 🚨

As we bid farewell to 2023 and step into 2024, your prayers, presence, and support mean the world to us.
May this holiday season bring abundant joy, hope, love, and peace. And as the year draws to a close, remember to finish strong and embark on a new year with a renewed mind, body, and spirit.
Thank you for playing your part in the kingdom of God, coming from Heaven to Fort Worth, Texas, and beyond.
Happy New Year to you and your loved ones!
