What a joy it was having celebrated Easter Sunday together and the hope found in Jesus’ death and resurrection.
We hope that our gathering Sunday continues moving and transforming hearts, encouraging and challenging us to live in the tensioned reminder that no matter where we find ourselves in life today—whether we’re facing grief, tears, or joy—Jesus meets us right where we are.
He weeps in our weeping, sorrows in our sorrows, grieves in our grieving, laments in our lamenting, and prays in our praying.
With the joy of Jesus down in our hearts, fresh and alive, join us for our prayer call today from 12 pm to 12:30 pm via Zoom as we intercede for our city, communities, campuses, and beyond. Let’s pray for others to experience the joy, peace, and love of Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Amongst many things to thank, praise, and believe God for, let’s aim our hearts to pray and seek God’s presence in the following:
- For those who visited on Easter Sunday, whether for the first time or after a long absence, to return and surrender to Jesus and actively engage in God’s mission through a local church.
- For God’s provision made perfect in Jesus—spiritual, physical, relational, financial, health—to be received by those in desperate need.
- For a new sermon series, “One Another,” to spark spiritual growth in daily interactions and weekly gatherings that point and draw people closer to Jesus.
- For the aligning of employers and those seeking employment at the It’s Worth Working Here Citywide Job Fair, which will be held on Saturday, April 6th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- For students upcoming testing and exams as this academic school year nears an end.
- For Joya’s successful completion of the New Student Organization 10-Week Orientation.
- For Every Nation Campus (ENC) becoming an officially recognized university campus ministry at TCU by Fall of 2024.
- For wisdom and discernment for establishing in-person music, vocals, and children’s ministries.
- For wisdom, leading, and outpouring of the Holy Spirit to start community groups in key areas of Fort Worth.
- For students hearts to be open and receptive to salvation in Jesus at 3 upcoming ENC outreach events – tabling on April 17th/24th and game night on April 24th.
- For discernment, clarity, and provision for our campus missionary, Bria, in selecting and pursuing a graduate program.
- For the hearts of our Muslim brothers and sisters in Fort Worth and beyond to be awakened to the truth of the Gospel of Jesus during Ramadan season—ends April 10th.
Our time is now, and God’s day of salvation is upon us. Let’s unite in prayer for Fort Worth and beyond to embrace God’s grace and be reconciled to Him through Jesus Christ.
Your presence and prayers mean the world to us and, most importantly, to God, who awaits to hear and answer according to His will.
We can’t wait to pray together! See you at 12 pm via Zoom!
God bless,
Pastor Alvin & Mallary Brown
