As God has expeditiously “marched” us into April, spring is on its way.
While much happened in March, which we can’t wait to share and will share in a few weeks, February is significant as it laid the groundwork for making disciples of Jesus both in our community and on campus.
Since our arrival in Fort Worth nearly two years ago (can you believe it!?), we’ve been fervently seeking the Lord’s leading through prayer for His mission in the planting of Mosaic Church Fort Worth.
Our weekly prayer gatherings over Zoom have been instrumental in this journey, but recently, we felt led to expand our prayer initiative.
In February, we transitioned to a new weekly prayer call every Wednesday from 12 pm to 12:30 pm. We’re thrilled to see new faces joining us each week as we intercede for our city, campuses, and beyond, believing God’s will to be done in Fort Worth as it is in heaven.
Meanwhile, divine favor and growth are evident on campus as campus missionary Bria Lacour and student leaders at TCU and DBU engage with those seeking God.
A big win for the campus was the ENC Football Hangout on Super Bowl Sunday, which drew many curious students and led to new connections and discipleship opportunities.
Bria, Joya, and the crew are making great strides toward Every Nation Campus (ENC) becoming an officially recognized campus ministry at TCU. Eight out of ten weeks have been completed for the university recognition process.
To date, ENC has received an early accommodation listing on the TCUEngage website.
Continue to pray for Bria and our student leader, Joya, as they navigate the final stages of the university recognition process for campus ministries.
And speaking of a finale, we recently completed the sermon series, “Set Apart: A Biblical View of Holiness,” exploring the depths of being set apart by God, for God, and His call for us to lead lives of holiness.
This series was a great start to our year and made for a great foundation to build.
As more new faces and lives encounter God through our daily interactions and weekly gatherings, we’ve started a Next Steps Course.
This 5-week course helps attendees deepen their relationship with God, find their purpose, and understand how we each have a part to play in partnering in God’s mission through the church, community, and campus.
We believe in God’s faithful movement of individuals’ and families’ hearts to commit to His growing and advancing mission of making disciples of Jesus in the community and on the campuses through Mosaic Church Fort Worth.
There are many more treasured highlights in the community and on campus to share from February, yet there is only so much time and space to capture them all in a monthly update.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many doors and hearts God opened during the month of March—Community Lunch, Podcast, Easter and more…
That’s all for now. Thank you for your continued partnership!
