It’s hard to believe January is already behind us.
As the calendar quietly turns toward February, it feels right to pause for one final moment and look back at December and give thanks for all God did as 2025 came to a close.
December started with a road trip to Austin, where Bria Johnson, our Every Nation Campus missionary at TCU, helped kick off Mosaic KIDCON, a joyful weekend for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade to learn how God’s kingdom comes to life through them.

Bria encouraged them to prayerfully live with confidence and faith, reminding them that because of Jesus, we can approach God boldly to receive mercy and grace when we need it most.
That same heart for formation carried with us as the focus shifted from our kids to our college students.
As finals approached and students prepared to head home, we shared a meaningful night together at TCU’s Carols by Candlelight. It’s a special way to close the year, especially for students who won’t be around for Christmas Eve.
This year, about a dozen of our students gathered with us inside the historic Robert Carr Chapel, which was packed wall-to-wall with students, faculty, families, and neighbors. Scripture was read from Luke, Matthew, and John as the Advent candles of hope, peace, joy, and love were lit.

One of our ENC student leaders, Sydnee Moody, worshiped through liturgical dance with Calling in Action, alongside university vocal groups offering songs of praise.
Moments like that remind us how much of a gift it is to walk with students, support their callings, and see God at work in their lives.
That same posture of presence and care doesn’t stop on campus. It also connects us to where we live, work, and play as a greater community every day.
Right before Christmas break, we had the joy of serving breakfast to the staff at Rolling Hills Elementary and offering words of gratitude for the way they pour into students every day.

One moment stood out in particular. Teachers were invited to write down prayer requests and place them in a box, and by the end, 22 unique requests had been shared.

Our team is committed to praying over each one throughout 2026, trusting God to meet them and eager to celebrate the answers as they come.
Another way we make God’s presence known is by participating in Holiday in the Hills, where, for the second year in a row, we handed out cookies to families at the neighborhood school where we gather each week.
It was a simple way to connect, serve, and invite families to join us for Christmas Eve.

And Christmas Eve itself was a gift.
Our candlelight service, always a favorite, became one of our largest gatherings of the year. We sang carols, heard a message of hope, lit candles during Silent Night, and shared cocoa and cookies together.
It was a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness and a meaningful way to close a year of growth on campus and in the community.

One of the most personal highlights came as we hosted our first staff Christmas party with Bria, Joice Villamor, our cross-cultural missionary, and their families.
It marked a quiet but powerful milestone, a reminder of how far God has brought us since sending us to Fort Worth to share the good news of Jesus.

At the start of 2025, God placed the word INVITATION on our hearts, and that theme showed up again and again.
Inviting God into who we’re becoming.
Inviting Him into what He’s calling us to do.
Inviting others to walk with us and discover not just information about Jesus, but a real relationship with Him.
None of this happens alone. We are deeply thankful for everyone who partners with us through prayer, generosity, and faithful support. Your willingness to give, pray, and stand with us is helping make the good news of Jesus known on the campus, throughout our community in Fort Worth, and beyond.
Through those invitations, we’ve seen God bring growth and deepen our roots as we step into 2026 with a new word: PREPARE.
Are you prepared for 2026?
We’re ready and preparing for what God wants to do next, and the invitation still stands. We’d love for you to continue this story with us in 2026.
May God’s grace and peace be with you in 2026!
