Day 5! We’re almost there—just a few hours remain! Stay hydrated and get some rest during prayer and fasting.
Recharge your soul with God’s Word, specifically today’s text, 1 Peter 3:13-16, about how what’s at the center of our hearts, our inward devotion, results in our outward expression that can make way for others to criticize and question our commitment to our faith in Jesus.
Take a moment to watch the video as Laud Allotey, Lead Pastor of Every Nation Accra in Accra, Ghana, shares the importance of outwardly living lives of commitment to holiness that testify of our inward hope in Christ Jesus becoming the hope of others.
Pause to consider and ask God to fill you with a commitment to holiness—a wisdom, gentleness, and respect in being “prepared to make a defense” to those who ask about your faith.

Let’s live in a way that shows God and others that we understand and appreciate the profound significance of holiness, which comes at a sacrificial cost. It invites us all to die to sin and live for righteousness, both in this life and the one to come.
