As words begin to flow from the heart to craft this message, 2025 is racing ahead, and January is already nearing its end.
But before we get too far removed from 2024 and into 2025, let’s take a moment to reflect on the incredible ways God moved on the campus and in the community as we closed out 2024.
December brought a joyous milestone as we welcomed Joice Villamor to the Mosaic Church Fort Worth family!

Joice comes to us from Victory BGC, our Every Nation sister church in Manila, Philippines. Her journey to Fort Worth began with a divine connection during a visit earlier in the year, where she stumbled upon Mosaic through a quick Google search while staying with family.
After much prayer and discernment with pastors here and in Manila, God opened door after door for Joice to transition to our church as a Cross-Cultural Missionary.
With over a decade of ministry experience, she will now work with Pastor Alvin to oversee the community’s outreach and discipleship efforts.

We’re grateful for Joice’s heart and faithfulness, and we can’t wait to see how God uses her (and the Villamor family) gifts to bless Fort Worth and beyond. Please keep her and our team in your prayers!
December also reminded us that giving can be as much a blessing as receiving.
A simple act of generosity can go a long way in showing people they are loved, seen, and valued, as witnessed in our showing gratitude by serving breakfast to the staff of Rolling Hills Elementary, where we meet each week.
While we wish we could bless every staff member at Fort Worth ISD, we focus on doing for one what we wish we could do for all, trusting that God will continue to bless and prosper our city through our church.
It wasn’t just the Rolling Hills staff we had the privilege of blessing—God also opened the door for us to serve many of the families who attend Rolling Hills daily.
At the Holiday in the Hills event, we handed out cookies and shared in the joy, connection, and festive spirit that brought the community together for a night of celebration.
With each cookie handed out, candy cane invites to our Candlelight Christmas Eve service—one of our biggest gatherings of the year outside of Easter—also reached many hands.

And what a Christmas Eve it was! Despite many college students and core families being away, Christmas Eve at Mosaic was a beautiful evening of hope and celebration. Friends, neighbors, and visitors joined us to reflect on why Christmas matters—the birth of Jesus, the Light of the world.

We ended the evening singing Silent Night by candlelight, a powerful reminder that many lights shine brightly from one Light.
A special blessing capped off the evening when Rolling Hills’ principal and custodian allowed us to leave the setup in place over the holiday break.

This unexpected kindness freed our church from teardown and gave us space to connect over hot chocolate and cookies—a perfect way to end 2024 and prepare for 2025. (PRAISE GOD!)
As we reflect on last year, it’s clear God was at work through every twist and turn. If you haven’t yet, check out A Kingdom Time Lapse—a video recap celebrating how God called Mosaic to be vibrant and active in making disciples where we live, work, and play.
No matter what you faced in 2024, we pray you’ve seen God’s faithfulness in your victories and valleys.
Because of your prayers, generosity, and partnership, Mosaic continues growing, transforming lives, and fulfilling God’s mission here in Fort Worth. THANK YOU!
Let’s step into 2025 with expectant hearts, trusting God the Father through the person Jesus and as empowered by the Holy Spirit, to continue writing more stories of lives transformed by Him in the year ahead.
Happy New Year!
