A Prayer for the Gospel of Grace.

Hi everyone!

We’re looking forward to everyone joining us this Sunday, November 13th for dinner at 5 pm. See you there!

Last week in our time of corporate prayer and praise, we praised the Lord of the harvest for His blessing in the timely sowing and reaping to make disciples for Jesus in communities and on campuses across Fort Worth.

Tonight we’ll focus our hearts on praying the words of Isaiah 55: 6-13, making space for the Spirit of God to lead us in making disciples for Jesus in our neighborhoods, places of employment, and the campus of Texas Christian University this season:

6 Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. 12 You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the Lord’s renown, for an everlasting sign, that will endure forever.” — Isaiah 55:6-13

Weekly Prayer Call from 8 pm – 9 pm (TONIGHT)

Every Wednesday night from 8 pm – 9 pm will be our corporate prayer and praise time to pray for the city of Fort Worth as well as one another and all that God is calling us to. We will start and end promptly, and look forward to everyone participating in our weekly call.

Join us at 8 pm tonight on Zoom.  Let’s pray and praise the Lord that the living words above will not return back to us, our city, our campuses, and to the nations empty. He will see to it that the gospel of being saved by grace through faith in Jesus will be accomplished.

God bless,
Pastor Alvin & Mallary Brown
