Hi everyone!
I’m excited to connect with you all tonight at 8 pm to continue in our time of corporate prayer and praise as we seek God on behalf of the greater Fort Worth metroplex.
God calls us as his sons and daughters to petition, intercede, and appeal to Him in and through prayer for our spheres of influence as it pertains to family and friends being transformed by Christ.
But God also calls us into greater spheres of influence to seek Him on behalf of “kings and all those in authority” — elected officials, pastors, employers, etc.
As the biblical foundation of tonight’s call, we’ll invest time together specifically praying for the elected officials of Fort Worth centering on 1 Timothy 2:1-4:
1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
We’ll pray for God’s placement of elected officials — City Mayor, City Manager, Fire Chief, Police Chief, City Council, and School Board, that His will be made known and accomplished through their lives, ours lives, and the lives of the many nations represented throughout Fort Worth too.
What a gift it will be as we come together to pray and be encouraged by the faith God has given us to see the nations and city of Fort Worth transformed through the Gospel of Jesus!
Weekly Prayer Call from 8 pm – 9 pm (TONIGHT)
Every Wednesday night from 8 pm – 9 pm will be our corporate prayer and praise time to pray for the city of Fort Worth as well as one another and all that God is calling us to. We will start and end promptly, and look forward to everyone participating in our weekly call.
Join us at 8 pm tonight on Zoom, and let’s labor and pray to witness a change in communities and on campuses for Jesus.
God bless,
