As many of you know, we launched our new sermon series, You Have A Part To Play, this past Sunday, where we’re exploring the real challenges we face in today’s culture and how God’s Word equips us to be difference-makers.
In Sunday’s message, The Difference Maker, we were reminded of a profound truth: we each have a role to play in the unfolding story of life.
As we enter our time of prayer today, let’s reflect again on the questions from Sunday:
- What would change if you truly believed you could make a difference in the world?
- What might help you see that God created you specifically to be a difference-maker?
The story of history is being written around us every day. But the crucial question is, what will our part in this story be?
Like the early church in Acts, will we be a people devoted to Biblical teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer with faithful generosity and sacrifice?
Will we live for God’s Kingdom or be consumed with building our own?
As we discovered together on Sunday, real difference-makers for God’s Kingdom live at the intersection of generosity, sacrifice, and His faithfulness. When those align, life change happens, both in our hearts and the world around us.
Mosaic Church has lived this out over the past four years, sacrificially and generously giving away $444,000 to support church plants all over Texas—including the start and growth of Mosaic Church Fort Worth.
And now, we find ourselves at a pivotal moment, as we invite you to prayerfully consider your part to play in helping raise $250,000 over the next four weeks to meet some pressing HVAC and plumbing needs at the Austin North campus.
If you missed Sunday’s message, I encourage you to watch and listen to it as soon as possible. It’s a powerful reminder of how God uses the local church to build His Kingdom.
Today, as we come together in prayer, let’s seek God’s heart and leading in the following ways and how we can continue to be the difference makers He’s called us to be—both where we live and as part of the bigger picture for His Kingdom:
🙏 Thank and praise God’s faithfulness in meeting His call of generosity and sacrifice.
🙏 A continued heart of generosity and sacrifice, trusting in God’s provision for His Kingdom.
🙏 God’s call as a church to plant new churches in His timing and according to His leading.
🙏 God’s empowerment to make disciples of Jesus in a multiethnic, multigenerational context on campus and in our community.
🙏 God’s wisdom and courage as difference makers to address significant cultural challenges with the Gospel of Jesus—Fame Culture, Homelessness, Creation Care, Politics, Modern-Day Slavery, and the pursuit of Common Humanity.
Let’s enter this time with anticipation, confident that God’s faithfulness will meet us as we offer our generosity and sacrifice while seeking His will.
Remember, Jesus’ generosity and ultimate sacrifice genuinely made a difference. Through His faithfulness, God transforms the lives of others—often through the generosity and sacrifice of ordinary people like you and me.
See you on Zoom at noon!
God bless,
