I hope your week is off to a good start as we continue our journey through our “Set Apart: A Biblical View of Holiness” series.
There’s something profound about exploring the depth of holiness and how holiness grounded in God impacts our lives.
Have you ever wondered, “How can a holy God have a relationship with a sinful people?”
This question is as old as the fall in the Garden of Eden, yet its relevance echoes through generations.
Tonight, at our prayer call at 8 pm on Zoom, we’re praying into this question, inspired by Sunday’s message from Bria Lacour: ‘Holiness Revealed.’
We’ll pray for God’s holiness to be revealed in practical and applicable ways, not just in our lives but also in the community and campuses of Fort Worth:
Exposing Sin through God’s Holiness: Praying for His mercy to bring sin to light in our lives and the lives of others.
Redemption’s Provision: Receiving and thanking God for His gracious provision through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
Transformation and Mission: Seeking God’s grace and holiness to transform all hearts so that we can faithfully and intently live daily as He intended for us back in the Garden of Eden.
Repentance and Worship: Asking for His holiness to draw us and others to repentance and worship, glorifying God in all aspects of our lives.
When we encounter God’s holiness through Jesus, it reveals a better story for us in Jesus, allowing us to live in the promise of His Kingdom. It also reveals and offers a better story to others around us.
Join us tonight, and let’s explore how receiving the invitation to “be holy as I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16) allows us to dwell daily with our holy God—the revelatory journey of God’s grace, redemption, and a life transformed by His holiness.
See you at 8 pm on Zoom!
God bless,
Pastor Alvin & Mallary Brown

Additionally, we will make space to pray for God to extend His reach beyond the limits of our city and into the world, seeking His wisdom, unity, safety, and provision for the following people and initiatives:

Let’s lift up Campus Missionary Jared Langdo, who serves Southpoint Community Church and the University of North Florida (UNF) in the Jacksonville, Florida area. Jared’s heart cry is for every person at UNF to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, believe, and have eternal life through his proclaiming the gospel, disciplining students, and preparing them to change the world!
Let’s pray for Randy and Selene De Los Santos as they are in the process of completing a church planting residency program at Family Life Austin (Austin, Texas) on their way towards reaching people of every nation in the Steel City of Pittsburgh with God’s warming love, saving grace, and bondage breaking power by planting a Christ-centered church in the heart of this city!
