We trust you’re keeping warm and dry, and staying safe this week.
This week, we started our new sermon series, “Set Apart: A Biblical View of Holiness.” The kickoff message on God’s holiness reminded us of what holiness truly is and why it matters in our lives, whether we consciously recognize it or not.
Tonight, we’ll pray through Sunday’s message from Psalm 96, embracing the tenets of singing a new song to God, declaring His holiness, and offering (ascribing) sincere worship.
Let’s unite our hearts in prayer, lifting up one another, our community, and the campuses in Fort Worth through the following ways:
- Let’s call out individuals by name, asking God to draw them to Himself or bring them back into a close relationship with Jesus.
- Pray for the wisdom and revelation to practically embody singing, declaring, and ascribing God’s attributes daily.
- Seek fresh encounters with God through our worship and surrender.
- Devote our lives to worship, living out the good news of Jesus and sharing stories of salvation.
- Pray for the revelation of God’s marvelous works and the glorification of His name as the Creator of all.
Remember, God sets apart things for His unique purpose. We believe that, especially in this season, He has set us apart to make a lasting impact for His Kingdom in Fort Worth.
Let’s anticipate and trust that God will set us apart in new ways this week, enabling us to accomplish something purposeful for His glory.
May our lives resound with the praises of God, declaring His glory and honoring Him in worship, just as the angels cry out: “Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!”
See you soon on Zoom.
God bless,
Pastor Alvin & Mallary Brown
