Overcoming Overwhelming Circumstances through Prayer.

Hi everyone!

Amidst the challenging weather conditions in Fort Worth, the state of Texas, and many states across the nation, we hope and pray that everyone is staying warm, dry, and safe.

This week, as with any and every week, we have many reasons to be grateful and to bring our requests before the Lord in prayer.

Let’s gather and lift up our voices in prayer together, seeking God’s holy presence, power, truth, righteousness, faithfulness, peace, healing, freedom, justice, mercy, miracles, comfort, love and more for the people in our communities and on campuses across Fort Worth.

As we lift up our prayers to be strengthened by the Holy Spirit as we spread the message of Jesus, let us be uplifted by the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 1:8-11, reminding us of the comfort and peace that God offers during difficult times.

8 ...We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. 9 In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. 10 And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us. 11 And you are helping us by praying for us. Then many people will give thanks because God has graciously answered so many prayers for our safety. — 2 Corinthians 1:8-11 (NLT).

Just as the words of Paul hold just as much truth and relevance today as they did for the church in Corinth, so too must we remain steadfast in our commitment to prayer.

Through prayer, we grow, are encouraged, and witness the full measure of God’s grace unfold as He answers our prayers.

We can find comfort in the knowledge that just as Paul expressed gratitude for the prayers of others during his difficult times, we too, and others, will be thankful for the ways in which God has answered our prayers through His saving grace.

Empowered and guided by the Holy Spirit, we continue to prayerfully work towards planting Mosaic Church Fort Worth, with the aim of reaching the lost and sharing the love of Christ Jesus, Him ultimately drawing them into His kingdom.

Join us for a night of prayer over Zoom tonight at 8 pm, as we experience the life-changing power of prayer together.

See you soon!

God bless,
Pastor Alvin & Mallary Brown
