Momentum in Making Disciples.

August has arrived, and with it the heat—on campus, in the community, and across our city of Fort Worth. But more than the weather, August always feels like a turning point.

School starts back, summer rhythms come to an end, and new opportunities to love and serve people open wide.

It’s hard to believe this marks our fourth year in Fort Worth, where we’ve been investing in discipling students at TCU.

This year is significant as our student leaders step into their final year before graduation.

But instead of looking too far ahead with teary eyes, we’re running full speed into God’s harvest: discipling one life at a time.

Senior TCU student leader Joya Ogier, alongside Campus Missionary Bria Lacour, at TCU’s new student orientation.

On campus, our ENC missionary, Bria Lacour, and the student leaders have hit the ground running, with new student orientation, our first ENC Nightweekly Bible studies and discipleship groups, and numerous connection points weekly.

Even something as simple as weekly tabling—with food, fun, and conversation—can create genuine fellowship in Jesus.

Already, new students are not only attending ENC but joining us at Mosaic Fort Worth on Sundays.

God is confirming His faithfulness beyond campus, too.

To close out the summer, we hosted 61 people for a family fun event at Rockwood Go-Karts & Mini Golf. Fifty-one showed up, including 31 first-time guests, 14 of whom were students.

That night alone set the tone for what feels like a remarkable year ahead.

In the wider community, we were honored to serve breakfast for faculty and staff at O.D. Wyatt High School and Rolling Hills Elementary as they began a new year.

Through your generosity, we also met their full back-to-school supply needs.

More than meals or backpacks, God gave us the chance to pray with parents, teachers, and staff—reminding them they are loved, seen, and not alone.

Another milestone this month was the launch of our first discipleship and leadership training, Making Disciples

Six Mosaic members committed to the journey, led by our cross-cultural missionary Joice Villamor alongside Bria

This training equips believers with practical tools to share their faith, lead groups, and live fruitful lives on mission.

We believe that what God has begun in them will ripple out into their lives, where they live, work, and play for years to come.

Looking back, August has been full of God’s blessing and movement—on campus, in the community, and in and through this local church.

Looking ahead, we are grateful and hopeful for what the fall and holiday season will bring.

And it goes without saying… THANK YOU for your continuous prayers, your giving, and your faithfulness in playing a part in God’s great commissioning work through this local church to reach its city with Jesus.

We love you, we miss you, and we can’t wait to share our next update with you soon.
