It’s wild to think we’re already halfway through 2025.
And yet, as the summer sun rises higher, so does the momentum of what God is doing in and through our church.
From quiet moments of Scripture reflection to joy-filled outreach in the heart of Fort Worth, we continue witnessing Jesus moving on campus and in the community deeply, personally, and powerfully.

This year, our women walked through A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 by W. Phillip Keller, uncovering the depth of God’s care and provision through one of Scripture’s most cherished Psalms.
But the real beauty was found in the shared prayers, honest conversations, and the reminder that our Good Shepherd not only leads us, but He restores us.
Not only is His restoration personal, but it is also something we live out together as His Church on mission.
Meanwhile, as the Texas heat crept toward its mission of triple digits, we cooled down #FunkyTown with an Ice Cream Social. And it didn’t disappoint. Nearly 60 people came out, including 20 first-time guests invited by our Mosaic family.

Sure, the Micholandia treats were sweet, and the connection was energizing, but the real impact was in the moments. Buying someone a treat, making eye contact, and reminding them they’re seen, known, and loved by God.
That they’re not alone, that there’s good news: Jesus loves them, and He’s calling them into a relationship, all through a simple act of kindness that opens the door to conversation and connection.
That’s what makes this outreach extraordinary. It’s a divine glimpse of ordinary mission.
Just like we celebrated on Pentecost Sunday, God’s mission has always been about people encountering Jesus, being filled with the Spirit, and sharing that hope with others.
And this is the heartbeat of discipleship: to live Gospel-centered, relationally intentional, and missionally minded lives. That’s what Jesus called us to in Matthew 28: to go and make disciples of all nations.
To invite others into a relationship with Him, and to teach them to do the same in their everyday lives—where they live, work, and play.
And when we respond to that call, God does what only He can do: He builds His Church.

In June, we celebrated God’s building of Mosaic by welcoming 10 new members into the family. They completed our Next Steps Course and are now prayerfully seeking where God is calling them to serve, love, and reach those who are still searching for Him.
That’s what this summer (and every season) has been about for us:
- Engaging people in ways that make God’s presence real.
- Establishing deep roots in biblical truth and community.
- Equipping one another to share our faith boldly.
- Empowering followers of Jesus to become disciple-makers.
That’s the journey of following Jesus, and the joy of helping others do the same.
And the best part? We’re not doing this alone.
Every time you pray, give, serve, or simply encourage, you’re part of God’s story. Your partnership helps bring the hope of Jesus to students on campus and families throughout Fort Worth.
Thank you for believing in what God’s doing through Mosaic. Thank you for being part of the mission. And thank you for helping others taste and see what Heaven on Earth can be and look like.
Until the next update, we love you and we’re grateful for you.
