A May On The Move.

The calendar may have officially flipped to become the first day of summer today, but we can’t move forward without thanking God for the many ways He moved in May.

It was a month of meaningful moments, big and small, all guided by His hand.

We entered May with hearts moved to love and serve, showing up for our neighborhood schools as the school year came to a close.

At both Luella Merrett and Rolling Hills Elementary, we celebrated students and staff with joy and intentionality. A pizza lunch for student leaders and a full spread of Rudy’s breakfast tacos, fruit, juice, and hot coffee for the faculty was our way of saying, “You matter. We see you. God sees you.”

It wasn’t just food, but fuel for the soul, served with love and a side of gratitude for all that God had allowed them to become and accomplish over the past year.

Just as we celebrated God’s faithfulness in elementary schools, we also stood in awe of how He moved on the campus of TCU this past school year.

Finals week in May is always a whirlwind with exams, packing, goodbyes, moving, and more.  But even in the rush, God was right there!

One of the most moving moments came from Sydnee Moody, one of our very own ENC students and leaders, who performed with Calling in Action, Inc., a student-led dance ministry that shares Christ’s love through dance.

At their Spring Fever ShowcaseSydnee and her team didn’t just dance, they worshiped. Every step was a message in motion, a powerful reminder that true worship transcends pulpits and buildings, moving into the hearts and lives of the many willing to draw closer to God.

It was the perfect finale to a semester marked by movements of intentional faith, purpose, and God’s unmistakable presence.

However, the movement didn’t stop on campus in May. God has also been growing our church family.

The Walker family, formerly of our Every Nation church in Brentwood, Tennessee, felt the Spirit’s nudge and were divinely moved to plant roots in Fort Worth. They are already loving, serving, and making disciples here at Mosaic.

Just when May couldn’t get more meaningful in community, we headed to Austin for Mosaic KIDCON—a high-energy weekend conference for elementary-aged kids hosted by our sending church, Mosaic Church Austin

Centered on the theme Tried & True from John 15, every game, breakout, and worship moment pointed to one truth: when kids root their faith in Jesus, their lives will bear good fruit.

Our very own “Pastor Dippin’ Dots” (yes, you read that right!) had the honor of teaching Saturday’s main session. He brought the heat (in the best way), melting, moving, and reminding all of our hearts that walking in faith means walking in love.

Looking back at that recap, May wasn’t just about being on the move for the sake of being on the move. It was about being moved by God, blessed in the journey, and becoming a blessing to others along the way.

We saw God moving everywhere. In every hallway, every conversation, every interaction, every dance step, every prayer, every decision to say “yes” to Jesus, He was there in every move.

None of these divine movements of the heart happen without your faithful support. Your prayers, generosity, and encouragement are part of the story God is writing through Mosaic Church Fort Worth.

Together, we’re seeing lives changed, faith awakened, and Jesus made known in the hearts, spaces, and places where we live, work, and play. Thank you for walking, serving, and believing with us.

As summer begins, our prayer is that we continue to be moved by Jesus and moved to share His good news.

One step, one story, and one transformed life at a time.
