Prayer for Divine Appointments.

Have you ever experienced a divine appointment? You know, those unexpected moments where you encounter God’s divine presence in ways that leave you in awe?

These moments are like the milestones of faith in a person’s life, revealing God’s miraculous presence and power, forever changing our hearts.

In our journey, Mallary and I have been blessed with numerous divine appointments — moments where God used us as messengers of revelation and brought others into our lives to affirm His purpose and direction.

Since moving to Fort Worth, we continue to experience these divine encounters, and the very intersection of our lives with yours in the planting of Mosaic Church Fort Worth is a living testament to the essence of divine appointments.

Join us tonight in prayer for Fort Worth which holds the potential for a divine appointment of its own made personal to and for each one of us. Together, we will bare our hearts to God and seek to encounter Him through the prayerful exploration of Proverbs 16:1-3, 9 (NIV):

1 To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue. 2 All a person's ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. 3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. 9 In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.

Let’s fervently pray and believe God to prepare all hearts in His orchestrating divine appointments and opportunities leading up to launch Sunday and beyond. Specifically, we will pray for hearts to align with God’s heart as He establishes the following:

  1. Boldly sharing the Gospel: May the Holy Spirit guide us to invite and share the life-transforming message of Jesus with complete strangers, allowing His love to reach those who are ready to hear and respond.

  2. Divine appointments and connections: Let us lift our voices with specific names in prayer for neighbors, family, friends, and coworkers whose hearts are prepared to receive the Gospel of Jesus. May God strategically bring them into our lives as vessels of His grace and truth.

  3. Ministry development: We will seek God’s discernment and guidance for individuals and families with committed hearts and lives, those who seek His heart and mission for His Church. Together, we will intercede for leaders who will carry the ministry weight in areas such as Digital MediamKids (children’s ministry), Mosaic Students (youth ministry), Every Nation Campus (college ministry), Connections (hospitality and next steps), and Music & Production (worship and audio/visual).

This is a divine invitation, and you’re invited to invite others to actively join and commit to God’s mission to save the lost through the planting of Mosaic Church Fort Worth.

May God establish us, Mosaic Church Fort Worth, in making disciples of Jesus in the communities and on the campuses of Fort Worth through the core values of worship, community, and mission in a multiethnic, multigenerational context.

Let us gather and pray with hearts united and empowered by the Spirit of God, expecting divine encounters and the fulfillment of God’s plans. Tonight holds the promise of a divine appointment.

See you at 8 pm via Zoom.

God bless,
Pastor Alvin & Mallary Brown

P.S. You’re invited to join us as we enter into our ninth week of a 12-week long Bible study entitled, “Come and See: Exploring the Gospel of John”.

Additionally, we will make space to pray for God to extend His reach beyond the limits of our city and into the world, seeking His wisdom, unity, safety, and provision for the following people and initiatives:

Alyssa Acob, a campus missionary at Hawaii Pacific University.

Let us pray for Alyssa Acob, a campus missionary at Hawaii Pacific University. May her heart continue to overflow with a deep longing for everyone to experience the love of Jesus. May she be filled all the more with a burning desire to engage, establish, equip, and empower young leaders, enabling them to fearlessly proclaim the Gospel and make a lasting impact wherever they may be.

Join us in prayer for Pastor Steve and Joy Johnson, whose passion is for God to heal racial division and brokenness in Memphis and on the University of Memphis campus. Through Kingdom Church Memphis, they foster a vibrant multi-ethnic, multi-generational community, aiming to inspire wholehearted love for God, dedication to His mission, and the advancement of His Kingdom in the lives they touch.
