Nations you do not know will come running.

Believe it or not, we’re at the halfway point in 2022!

What a year it’s been for our family, our spiritual family here at Mosaic, and likely your family too. I hope you are looking forward to and as excited about the remaining half of 2022 as we are.

Why? Well, the opportunity to journey together in sharing the Gospel with the greater Fort Worth metro has never been more significant.

In fact, I was personally reminded of and encouraged by this as I read Isaiah 55. In short, it’s a foretelling of an invitation to salvation, yet an invitation to faith in Christ Jesus.

3 Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.

4 See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a ruler and commander of the peoples.

5 Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.

6 Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.

7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

These verses, as well as the passage in its entirety, remind and encourage us about the significance of graciously sharing the invitation to all — family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, the complete stranger, the nations — to come and receive the Gospel’s gift of salvation and relationship with Jesus.

For the nations await to encounter and experience His splendor through our lives as we obediently love, serve, lead, sacrifice, grow and believe in what God is doing here.

So we must tirelessly share what was freely shared to us through the person of Jesus as led by the Holy Spirit.

God has been so good to us, so faithful to us, and the planting of Mosaic Church Fort Worth is just one more piece of evidence that something special is happening in our midst for the nations to come running.

And speaking of special happenings, below are a few updates and events to mark on your calendar and share with others:

Mosaic Men’s Retreat 2022

Well, that’s quite a few updates and events (with more on the way!). But for now, though, THANK YOU ALL for your continued partnership to invite and share our journey in Christ Jesus together with others.

We are excited to arrive, discover, and answer the call in the greater Fort Worth metro to be the hands and feet of Jesus and make disciples for Him — changing the community and campus, changing the world!

We love you and look forward to hearing from you (and seeing you too!). Don’t hesitate to connect with us. Also, let us know how we can be praying specifically for you (and your family).

Have a safe and blessed holiday weekend. That’s all for now!

God bless,
Pastor Alvin & Mallary Brown

P.S. Our prayer is that we are completely moved and established into our house in Fort Worth by the end of July — Austin house lists next week, Lord willing.
