Hi everyone!
I hope this message finds you in good health and that you are experiencing the abundant joy of the Lord throughout your week.
As we enter into the season of Lent, I wanted to extend a warm invitation to you to join us for tonight’s weekly prayer call.
This evening, we will be observing Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent. If you are not acquainted with either of them, you may be asking yourself, “What exactly is Ash Wednesday and Lent, and what makes them so significant?”
Lent holds great importance for Christians, believers, and followers of Jesus, as it is a time of fasting, reflection, and repentance. It’s an opportunity for us to acknowledge our desperate need for reconciliation with God and to prepare our hearts for the remembrance of Holy Week and Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection on Easter Sunday.
Throughout the 40 days of Lent, we will be praying and fasting for one another and for everyone in our communities and on the campuses in Fort Worth. We believe that prayer and fasting, rooted in the Gospel of Jesus, make space for God’s miraculous power to bring about change in our lives and in the world around us.
Additionally, we will make space to pray for God to extend His reach beyond the limits of our city and into the world, seeking His wisdom, unity, safety, and provision for the following people and initiatives:

Let’s pray for cross-cultural missionary Tiffany Nogoy based in Panama, as she shares the hope of forgiveness and God’s love with university students to transform their campuses, families, careers, and countries with the gospel of Jesus.
Let’s unite in prayer for Pastors Aaron and Jasmine Rooks. The Rooks planted Every Nation Lexington in the heart of Lexington, Kentucky. Every Nation Lexington is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church that exists to honor God by connecting people to God and one another to reach the world.

Weekly Prayer Call from 8 pm – 9 pm (TONIGHT)
Every Wednesday night from 8 pm – 9 pm will be our corporate prayer and praise time to pray for the city of Fort Worth as well as one another and all that God is calling us to. We will start and end promptly, and look forward to everyone participating in our weekly call.
Join us tonight at 8 pm via Zoom as we pray for repentance and renewal to be reconciled with God. We will also meditate on various scriptures with hopeful hearts, anticipating miracles and a greater awareness of God’s presence in a world lost in darkness, eagerly awaiting the restorative return of Christ Jesus.
Thank you for being a part of our community and for your commitment to seeking after God’s heart and making disciples for Jesus.
We can’t wait to see you on the call tonight!
God bless,
Pastor Alvin & Mallary Brown
