I don’t know about you, but we could really use some good news right now.

If you’re anything like us, you’ve probably encountered stories—yours and others—that seem so unfair. Stories of losing a loved one, marriages and families shattered by divorce, jobs lost, or financial setbacks. 

And if not those, then the relentless struggles with addiction, illness, suffering in general, and so on.

Or perhaps, it’s the broader stories of our world that seem to favor only the wealthy, powerful, and privileged.

I hope this email finds you rested and encouraged and that your week is off to a great start as we gather today for our prayer call at 12 pm via Zoom.

In our time today, we will be inspired and guided by Sunday’s final message from our series, “One Another: Living at the Heart of Christian Community,” out of Hebrews 3:7-14, titled “Encourage One Another.” 

We all could use more daily encouragement in all areas of our lives as well as encourage all the many people we encounter daily where we live, work, and play.

And in the spirit of embodying Jesus and how he encouraged us to encourage one another in serving and loving one another, we’ll pray for the following:
