Continue reading Power Over What We Carry.One moment, it’s offering a listening ear to a neighbor who needs it. The next, it’s the quiet tug to bring food to someone in need. Then it’s covering a bill or babysitting for a single parent, holding it all together.
Other times, it’s praying late into the night for a struggling friend, extending forgiveness that was never asked for, or setting a place at the table for someone with nowhere else to go.
Each moment feels small. Costly. And sometimes, it feels like giving is losing.
I’ve found myself praying, “God, if I do this, will You still take care of me?”
