Hi everyone!

Only a few hours til’ Thanksgiving, yet we’re looking forward to everyone joining us this Sunday, November 27th at 5 PM for dinner. See you there!

Mallary and I missed praying with you all last week but shared a wonderful two days and dinner with our Plant Fort Worth Cohort — more on this in the next newsletter (or tonight for those that join!).

But on this Thanksgiving Eve, in a world full of deals — pre, black, gray, cyber, small biz Saturday, non-profit Tuesday, and the list goes on — it’s quite easy to be distracted, right?

Let’s admit it. We’re all enticed, distracted from one deal to the next.

Buzz, buzz goes the phone or email notifications with a deal we’re told we simply can’t live without.

Yet as we all know and come to learn in time, every deal has a shelf life.

Whether we want it to or not, whether we believe it or not, each deal has an expiration date — a limit and expiration purposely built into the deal!

Hi everyone!

We’re looking forward to everyone joining us this Sunday, November 13th for dinner at 5 pm. See you there!

Last week in our time of corporate prayer and praise, we praised the Lord of the harvest for His blessing in the timely sowing and reaping to make disciples for Jesus in communities and on campuses across Fort Worth.

Tonight we’ll focus our hearts on praying the words of Isaiah 55: 6-13, making space for the Spirit of God to lead us in making disciples for Jesus in our neighborhoods, places of employment, and the campus of Texas Christian University this season:

Hi everyone!

What a great time we had sharing laughs and stories over dinner with everyone that attended this past Sunday.

Don’t forget to mark your calendar and join us for the next Community Dinner at our place Sunday, November 13th at 5 pm. See you there (text for address)!

Last week in our time of corporate prayer and praise, we read and prayed from John 4:31-38.

We centered our hearts in prayer to trust God’s timing in his sending of us as laborers to sow and reap — sharing the message of the Kingdom of God (sowing) that leads to repentant hearts professing Christ Jesus as Lord through God’s salvific, transforming power (reaping).

While God’s heart of enduring love for people to enter into a personal relationship with Him doesn’t change, God’s sowing and reaping assignments vary for each of us. Yet we may oftentimes consider ourselves to be too busy, too distracted, and fail to recognize these varying assignments as we live, work, and play.

Nonetheless, we’re only one moment away from realizing a life-changing relationship with someone new.

Now you’re likely thinking, what one moment exactly could bring this sort of life-altering change into my life?

Hi everyone!

Before I dive into the details for tonight’s prayer call, please mark those calendars and join us for Community Dinner at our place Sunday, October 30th at 5 pm. See you there (text for address)!

Last week in our time of corporate prayer and praise, we centered our hearts in prayer, focusing on one word: harvest.

As shared previously, THE determining factor of every bountiful harvest is the Lord himself and the people He sends.

Therefore we prayed and asked the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers (that’s us!) into the harvest field — Fort Worth communities and campuses of TCU, UTA, TWU, TCC, and Tarleton State.

Tonight, we continue to focus on harvest, yet we’ll pray to be led by the Spirit of God in another important factor of harvest as revealed in John 4:31-38: time.
